Your favourite Nicolaus wins awards across the world, and has long been the most popular and best-selling vodka in Slovakia. And now it can also be proud of the key Quality Mark award, which we’ll tell you more about in this blog.
When awarding the Quality Mark, the commission strictly evaluates several criteria. The most important of which is Slovak production. The Quality Mark can only be awarded to Slovak producers that use local ingredients for its products. And all steps in the production process must also take place in Slovakia. Compliance with the relevant technological procedure, quality parameters, and food safety is also taken into account.
Nicolaus Extra Fine Vodka meets all the above criteria. For its production, we use only first-class Slovak ingredients of the highest quality. Extra fine and multi-distilled spirit comes from ripened corn grown in sunny Slovak fields. The alcohol is then mixed with crystal clear glacial water from Háj-Nicovô mountain at the foot of the Tatras. And of course, its production and bottling is also in Slovakia – specifically Liptovský Mikuláš.
When producing Nicolaus, we simply place long-term emphasis on Slovakness. That’s why we’re so pleased that our efforts have been recognised with the Quality Mark, which is awarded to high-quality local food and products.
